Anthony Martin-Owner/Consultant
Education Anthony Martin graduated from Monache High School in Porterville in 2000. After graduating from High School he then went on to receive his B.A. in Liberal Studies from C.S.U. Long Beach in 2004. After that he returned to the Central Valley to work on his Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at Chapman University in Visalia. He successfully completed his Preliminary Credential in August of 2005. After completion of the Preliminary Credential Anthony went through the Tulare County BTSA program to receive his Clear Credential. After completion of his Clear Credential he then returned to Chapman University to complete his Master of Arts in Education in January 2009 and his Tier 1 Administrative Services Credential in June 2009. After completing his Administrative Credential Anthony then enrolled in an Educational Doctorate program through Capella University with an anticipated completion date of June 2012.
Work Experience Prior to beginning his education work experience Anthony worked for 2 years at Sierra Minit Mart/Taco Bell Express and then an additional 4 years for Vons Grocery Stores. Anthony began his educational career as a Long Term substitute in November of 2004 for Terra Bella School District. After successfully completing the remainder of the 04-05 school year as a long term sub Anthony was picked up full time by the school district. During his first two years of teaching Anthony taught 5th grade at Terra Bella Elementary School District. The next two years he was the teacher of record for 4th/5th combination class but team taught with three other teachers. Anthony’s role on the team was to teach Science, Social Studies, PE and Test Prep and Test Strategies to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. In addition to teaching these areas Anthony also did most of the data analysis for himself and his group of teachers that he taught with. Another extra duty Anthony took on was to fill in as Substitute Principal on several occasions during the 08-09 School year. In June of 2009 Anthony interviewed for and was offered the Instructional Data Specialist position for Earlimart School District. He currently works at the District office in Earlimart and his main job is to focus on analyzing the various forms of assessment data that comes into the district office from the three sites. In addition to preparing and analyzing data, Anthony also gives presentations to the staff and is a part of the DAIT team for the district. |
